(Portrait)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <em>Guardian <\/em>UK had a funny piece about an awful billionaire mining baroness who wanted an unflattering portrait of her taken down from the gallery she&#8217;d made a donation to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hame.ink\/blether\/wp-content\/uploads\/posts\/2024\/05\/gina2-1024x1001.png.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15841\" style=\"width:584px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Last night was Comics Club, and I didn&#8217;t have anything specific to work on, so I decided to try my hand at making a portrait of Ms. Rinehart myself. (I&#8217;ve drawn over 200 cartoons of Strategic Coach staff members, but on this occasion I wasn&#8217;t confined to doing something cartoony or flattering.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hame.ink\/blether\/wp-content\/uploads\/posts\/2024\/05\/gina-1024x1020.png.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15842\" style=\"width:288px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We also had a brief visit from the Club&#8217;s founding member, Tyler Landry, who was fresh back from the Toronto Comic Arts Festival, where his comic <a href=\"https:\/\/uncivilizedbooks.com\/old-caves\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Old Caves<\/a> won the &#8220;Pigskin Peters Award&#8221; for best small-press book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Couldn&#8217;t happen to a nicer guy!
