There were still some things we had to walk quite a ways to get rid of, but the other day Patrick noticed that the city has just put packaging and paper recycling bins out on the bridge near our house. Yay!<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>~<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>This afternoon, after I&#8217;d finished my Strategic Coach writing, I had my dinner at the mosque kitchen in town (mmm, curried chickpea and goopy spinach on rice), then I paid a visit to the Museum of Scotland. I&#8217;m working on Chapter Ten of <em>Finitude<\/em> and am gathering ideas, and, as I suspected, the museum was a great resource for inspiration.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>While I was there, I met this guy, who is apparently a protector-god of books and museums (saving them from fire, bugs, and other such destruction). It seemed appropriate to include him here:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hame.land\/blog\/blog_files\/image-034.jpg.webp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-width:0\" height=\"300\" alt=\"IMAGE_034\" src=\"https:\/\/hame.ink\/blether\/wp-content\/uploads\/posts\/1018\/hooray-edinburgh1.jpg.webp\" width=\"225\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>This book is taking me into unfamiliar territory. It&#8217;s scary, but exciting.
