All the markers\u2019 colours in the shops were too saturated, so I ended up buying brush-pens, only to get those home and discover the colours were way too dark, like magic-markers. So I opened them up, diluting the colours a lot, mixing some of them, and I think I\u2019m happy with them now. But the washes are so crazy and uncontrolled. I dunno.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>And I appreciate that playing with art supplies does not equal creating art. But I\u2019m just so <em>fussy<\/em> \u2014 if my tools feel right, I want to create more. If they get in the way&#8230; I don\u2019t.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hame.ink\/blether\/wp-content\/uploads\/posts\/1601\/20180421104644-EE9EE48E-A0F8-4641-B80D-46FE5A510C4B.jpeg.webp\" alt=\"playing with water brushes\"><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>When Craig got home from work (he\u2019s been getting hospital shifts here and there), he pulled me away to go out for dinner.
