This always happened when I was writing novels, too: Just when I’d use an idea in a story, it’d show up in the news.

Likewise with my comic: I just posted a sequence about the characters releasing bio-engineered mosquitoes, and this morning I read this: “750 Million Genetically Engineered Mosquitoes Are Being Released in Florida“.
